The Alaska trip described in this blog took place in 2013, but we believe it is still relevant. We also sailed with UnCruise in 2016, and found our experiences to be much like those on the first trip. We have not heard of any major changes to UnCruise Adventures, and we are reasonably certain Alaska has not changed much. This blog was prepared for our personal enjoyment to preserve our Alaska memories. You will find no advertisements, and we have received no compensation from UnCruise Adventures (or anyone else!). Disclaimer - we have yet not returned to cruising or to Alaska since the arrival of Covid-19, but hope to change that next year (2023).
